FAQ

Common questions about pedestal systems and how we work.

An adjustable pedestal system is a modular support assembly that elevates pavers, stone, or decking above a structural substrate. Each pedestal can be dialed in by height, allowing a perfectly level finished surface above a sloped, waterproofed, or uneven base while water drains underneath.

Pedestal systems are used on pool decks, rooftop terraces, balconies, commercial plazas, amenity decks, and any raised paver or decking application where drainage, membrane protection, or level finish over slope is needed.

Yes. Pool decks are one of the most common Florida applications. Pedestals allow porcelain or stone pavers to sit level above a sloped concrete or waterproofed substrate, with water draining beneath the finished surface.

Yes. Pedestal systems can be installed above compatible rooftop waterproofing assemblies when the membrane, protection layer, loading conditions, and project details have been reviewed. Compatibility with a specific waterproofing assembly must be confirmed for the project.

We typically need: project type, square footage, paver size and thickness, minimum and maximum height range, project location, and timeline. Drawings are helpful but not required for an initial response.

Submit the Contractor Pricing form on this site, or message us on WhatsApp with your project details. Florida Pedestal will review the information and respond with pricing or follow-up questions.

No. Quantity estimates produced without drawings are preliminary only. Final quantities depend on actual layout, paver size, perimeter and corner conditions, cuts, and slope. We recommend a project-specific review before ordering.

Product selection depends on minimum and maximum height, paver size and weight, substrate condition, slope, exposure (pool, rooftop, balcony, plaza), and the project's load and wind considerations. Final selection should be reviewed against project drawings.

Because pedestals lift the pavers off the substrate, water that lands on the surface drains through the open paver joints, flows across the sloped substrate beneath, and exits through the existing drainage of the structure.

KuleFlooring manufactures the pedestal products. Florida Pedestal supports Florida contractors with product access, project intake, preliminary product guidance, pricing coordination, samples, and local communication. KULE GROUP USA supports architects, specifiers, technical documentation, and broader commercial project review.

Yes. WhatsApp is our preferred fast channel for Florida contractors. Send project type, location, square footage, paver details, and height range — we'll respond with next steps.

Yes. Florida Pedestal exists specifically to give Florida contractors, pool builders, paver installers, hardscape contractors, and GCs a direct, local point of contact for pedestal product access, pricing, and project coordination.
